Date announced for the 75th TONY AWARDS ceremony

The 75th Tony Awards ceremony has been scheduled for Sunday 12 June at Radio City Music Hall, marking the first time that the event will be broadcasted live from coast to coast. 

The Tonys, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be considering shows from the 2021-2022 season, with nominees announced on 3 May.

Directed by Glenn Weiss, the show will consist of an hour of content streaming exclusively on the Paramount+ platform before the three-hour award ceremony takes place on both CBS and Paramount+. The show will also be available on demand on Paramount+. The first hour of content will begin streaming at 7 PM, ET on Paramount+, with the ceremony beginning at 8 PM.
