It has been announced that Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People, Where The Crawdads Sing) will play Carole King in the upcoming film adaptation of musical, Beautiful.

Directed by Academy Award nominee Lisa Cholodenko, Sony Pictures acquired the rights to King’s songs and those of other artists in the musical production over seven years ago.

King’s hits that feature include ‘One Fine Day’, ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’, ’I Feel the Earth Move’ and ‘You’ve Got a Friend’.
