Cynthia Erivo to appear as guest judge on STRICTLY COME DANCING for Musicals Week
Multi-award winning singer and actor Cynthia Erivo will appear as a guest judge on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing tomorrow (20 November) for Musicals Week.
Erivo will replace Craig Revel Horwood for one week only as he has tested positive for Covid-19.
The British star has recently been cast as Elphaba in the upcoming film adaption of Wicked and has starred in stage musicals including The Color Purple, Sister Act and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
Erivo said: “I’m so delighted to be joining the Strictly judging panel for Musicals Week. Musicals have a unique place in my heart, it’s such a special way of connecting all art and making it one. I’m excited to bring my experience to the show and I can’t wait to see what the couples have in store this weekend.”
Strictly Come Dancing starts at 6.35pm tomorrow on BBC One.
