Cornwall’s Minack Theatre announces reopening plans

Minack Theatre

The stunning Minack Theatre in Cornwall has announced that it will reopen its doors to visitors from 12 April, ahead of its first live production on 17 May.

The outdoor venue’s summer season opens with Bea Roberts’ Then Come The Nightjars, a play set during the foot and mouth epidemic in 2001. Steve Jacobs and Craig Johnson will perform in the show, which will be directed by Minack Associate Director, John Brolly.

This will be followed by Bash Street Theatre’s The Cameraman, The Canterbury Tales by David Mynne and Illyria Theatre’s The Further Adventures of Doctor Dolittle; with more shows to be announced soon.

Booking for the new shows will open on 24 March here.
