Composer Drew Gasparini to join cast of West End production of I COULD USE A DRINK
Composer of hit album I Could Use A Drink, Drew Gasparini, will appear in the staged production for one night only at the West End’s Garrick Theatre on 2 August.
He will play keyboards during the piece, and will join the previously announced cast of Ahmed Hamad, Billy Nevers, Caroline Kay, Luke Bayer, Maiya Quansah-Breed, GSA graduate Olivia Lallo and Tom Francis. Hiba Elchikhe and Callum Henderson have also been confirmed to join the line-up.
The show will be directed by Alex Conder, with musical direction by Flynn Sturgeon.
It’s also been said that Gasparini is composing the music for a new Karate Kid musical. Let’s hope there’s a song titled “Wax On, Wax Off”, Besties!
