To mark National Canadian Film Day 2021 today, the High Commission of Canada is streaming You Are Here: A Come From Away Story for 24 hours only.

The emotional and uplifting documentary tells the incredible true story of the passenger planes grounded in Gander, Newfoundland during 9/11 and how the local community came together to feed, shelter and support the stranded passengers for six days.

The programme includes interviews with several of the passengers and town residents, telling the real life story that inspired the smash-hit musical, Come From Away.
