Choose-your-own musical adventure with the launch of The Marathon Project

A brand new digital project has been created by some of the country’s most exciting musical theatre creators.

Burnt Lemon Theatre, SpitLip, Sheep Soup, The Letter Room and Maimuna Memon are collaborating on the Marathon Project, named after the 1904 marathon which was full of challenges, chaotic leadership and unfathomable obstacles.

The project will be a musical choose-your-own adventure to be played online. Following months of research and development, the initiative is launching to gather more creatives to be involved: musicians, coders, gamers etc.

The first scratch performance of initial songs will happen at the Lowry Theatre, Salford on 10 November (both in person and streamed online via stream.theatre).
