Charing Cross Theatre reopens with world premiere of Paul Harvard’s GHBoy

Charing Cross Theatre is marking its return from lockdown with a world premiere of Paul Harvard’s GHBoy.

Produced by James Quaife Productions, the play will run from 4-28 November, with an opening night on 10 November.

Jon Pashley directs the work, which “tackles the misconceptions around gay culture and promiscuity.”

The story takes us through the party scene of East London and explores substance abuse, sex, love and acceptance.

The cast includes Sylvester Akinrolabu, Geoff Aymer, Marc Bosch, Buffy Davis, Jimmy Essex, Devesh Kishore and Aryana Ramkhalawon.

Set and costume design is by Bettina John, Tony Simpson is on lighting, Rona Castrioti, sound, and Gerrard Martin, movement direction.

Tickets are available in socially-distanced groups of up to four people, with 105 seats on sale in total.

Prices for the 90-minute production range from £10-£25.
