Following yesterday’s news of Broadway’s reopening plans, it has been confirmed that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will not return to the Great White Way until 2022.

Also the New York Times has reported that ahead of its return, the producers are “rethinking its length and structure before deciding how and when to reopen”.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, also directed by Tiffany.

Whilst the Australian production reopened in February at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre, the West End production will reportedly not reopen until 14 October at the earliest.
