Casting update for Iris Theatre’s outdoor SUMMER FESTIVAL 2021

Summer Festival

Iris Theatre has announced casting for its five Seed Commission pieces, being presented as part of their Summer Festival 2021.

The events will be held at their home in the courtyard of the Actor’s Church in Covent Garden from 21 June-22 August 2021 and will feature Danielle Pearson’s Queen Mab, directed by Georgie Straight and starring Erica Flint as Mab and Jo Patmore as Freya; Tom Ryalls’ Can You See Into A Black Hole?, directed by Deirdre McLaughlin and performed by Daniel Fitzsimons as Tom; Fair Play’s production of Shoes to Fill, directed by Alex Miller and featuring playwright Tanya Bridgeman as Granddaughter; new musical The Red Side of The Moon, directed by Priya Patel Appleby and performed by Elinor Peregrin as Beth and Kathryn Tindall as Ellen; and Tiny T’s Storytelling & Theatre’s new show for children Spectacular! written by Tara Harris, directed by Steph Crome and featuring Jemma Carlisle, Emily Cass, Bethany Filler and Harris. 

The Summer Festival also includes Iris Theatre’s world première production of Arthur/Merlin, a reimagining of the Arthurian legend featuring spoken word and original songs written by previous PLATFORM artist, Reuben Johnson, and directed by the company’s Artistic Director, Paul-Ryan Carberry.
