Casting details & trailer released for Disney’s new animated musical ENCANTO

A teaser trailer has been released, along with initial casting, for Disney’s new animated musical Encanto, which features original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Scheduled for a cinematic release on 24 November 2021, the film is directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, and will feature the voice of Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine Nine), alongside Adassa, María Cecilia Botero, Mauro Castillo, Angie Cepeda, Jessica Darrow, Rhenzy Feliz, Carolina Gaitan, Diane Guerrero and Wilmer Valderrama.

Encanto is about a family called the Madrigals, who live in an enchanted town in the mountains of Colombia. Every child but one in their magical house has been granted a unique ability such as strength or healing powers. Mirabel, the only ordinary child, discovers the magic is under threat and she may be the only one able to save it.
