Casting has been announced for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which plays Upstairs at the Gatehouse from 14 December 2023 - 14 January 2024.

The cast includes Jordan Broatch (42 Balloons, West End) as Charlie Brown, Millie Robins (Matilda, West End) as Sally Brown, Troy Yip (Tick, Tick…Boom!, Shanghai XG Theatre) as Schroeder, Oliver Sidney (Oliver!, West End) as Snoopy, Jacob Cornish (professional debut) as Linus Van Pelt, and Eleanor Fransch (Alice in Wonderland, New Vic Theatre) as Lucy Van Pelt.

Charlie Brown is five years old and trying his best. But things just don’t seem to go his way: his kite won’t fly, the Little Red-Haired Girl won’t look at him, and he’s not even sure his dog Snoopy likes him all that much!

With a charming book and hilarious songs brought to life by our wonderful five-piece band, the beloved PEANUTS characters urge us to find happiness in the everyday and serve as a reminder that we’re all just grown-up children trying our best to figure it out.

The musical has a book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer, and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.

The production is directed and choreographed by Amanda Noar, with musical direction by Harry Style, set design by Ruby Boswell-Green, and costumes by Holly Louise Chapman.
