Casting announced for the UK tour of GROAN UPS

Casting has been revealed today for the upcoming UK tour of Mischief’s Groan Ups.

Getting underway at Theatre Royal Bath on 12 August, the piece will feature Daniel Abbott as Archie, Jamie Birkett as Chemise and Miss Murray, Matt Cavendish as Simon, Killian Macardle as Paul and Mr White, Yolanda Ovide as Moon, Dharmesh Patel as Spencer, Lauren Samuels as Katie, plus understudies Paul Brown and Holly Sumpton.

The comedy play revolves around the relationships between five school-friends are explored at three stages of their lives: in Year Two in 1994, Year Nine in 2001, and at a school reunion in the present day.

Written by Mischief's Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, Groan Ups is directed by Kirsty Patrick Ward, with design by Fly Davis, costumes by Roberto Surace, sound and composition by Alexandra Faye Braithwaite, and lighting by Christopher Nairne.

Following its run in Bath, Groan Ups will visit Salford, Chester, Sheffield, Oxford, Guildford, Edinburgh, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Cambridge, Glasgow, Dartford, Wolverhampton, Norwich, Brighton, Nottingham, Southampton, Aylesbury and Coventry.
