Casting announced for Toronto run of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

Casting has been announced for the new London Palladium production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which makes its North American premiere at Toronto’s Princess of Wales Theatre from 11 December 2022 - 18 February 2023.

Jac Yarrow and Vanessa Fisher will reprise their performances as Joseph and the Narrator respectively, with Tosh Wanogho-Maud (The Drifter’s Girl, West End) playing the Pharoah. Linzi Hately, who was due to play the Narrator in Toronto, has been forced to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances.

The cast also includes Erica-Jayne Alden as Dan’s Wife, Shane Antony-Whitely as Issachar, Natalie Bennyworth as Naphtali’s Wife, Jabari Braham as Levi, Ben Brooker as Tailor/Guard, Gemma Buckingham as Levi’s Wife, Thalia Burt (Swing), Meg Darcy as Asher’s Wife, Alexander Day (Swing), Tyler Ephraim as Dan, Iván Fernández González (Swing), Zac Frieze as Asher, Matt Gibson as Reuben, Will Hawksworth as Simeon, Samuel John-Humphreys as Tailor/Guard, Amber Kennedy as Simeon’s Wife, Claire Lander (Swing), Abbie Platts as Reuben’s Wife, Nathan Rigg (Swing), Samantha Shuma as Tailor/Cook, Sam Stones as Naphtali, and Holly Willock as Issachar’s Wife.

In this production, Joseph’s brothers will be played by a cast of talented child actors. They are Cody Black, Isaac Chan, Chloe Cheong, Jacob Davidov, Jayd Deroché, Jessica Du, Evelyn Fu, Isaac Grates-Myers, Jazmin Headley, Cameron Kuwayti, Nendia Lewars, Lavinia Luk, KJ Romani, Emma Grace Stead, Emily Watt and Charlie Zeltzer.

This new production is directed by Laurence Connor, with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, set and costumes by Morgan Large, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Gareth Owen, orchestrations by John Cameron, and musical supervision and direction by John Rigby.
