Casting announced for THE BAND PLAYS ON at Sheffield Theatres

The Band Plays On

Casting has been announced for The Band Plays On, a brand-new piece by Chris Bush, which is due to be streamed from Sheffield Theatres from 15-28 March.

Directed by Robert Hastie and Anthony Lau, the piece is described as “stories of solidarity and survival from the Steel City” and will be recorded on stage at the venue, featuring live music and an assortment of tales. 

The Band Plays On’ will star Jodie Prenger (Oliver, A Taste of Honey), Jocasta Almgill (& Juliet, Rent), Maimuna Memon (Standing at the Sky’s Edge), Sandra Marvin (Showboat, Waitress) and Anna-Jane Casey (Annie Get Your Fun, Flowers for Mrs Harris). 

Tickets go on sale on 24 February and will be available here.
