Casting has been announced for Lyric Hammersmith’s new triple bill of three one-person plays, Out West, running from 18 June-24 July.

Featuring works by Roy Williams, Tanika Gupta and Simon Stephens, Out West plays to socially distanced audiences as well as being streamed online.

Gupta's The Overseas Student stars Esh Alladi and follows a young Mohandas K Gandhi as he arrives in the UK to study law. Stephens' Blue water and cold and fresh stars Tom Mothersdale and centres on a man coming to terms with his father's racism. Then Williams' Go Girl stars Ayesha Antoine, which celebrates Black women and everyday heroism.

Directed by the venue’s Artistic Director Rachel O'Riordan and Diane Page, the plays feature set and costume design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting by Jessica Hung Han Yun and composition/sound by Simon Slater.
