Casting announced for new musical REHAB at London’s Playground Theatre

Casting has been announced for new musical Rehab, which is set to run at London’s Playground Theatre from 1-17 September.

Written by Grant Black and Murray Lachlan Young, with a book by Elliot David, the cast will include Keith Allen (The Homecoming), Jonny Labey (Strictly Ballroom), Gloria Onitiri (Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella) and John Barr (Les Misérables).

Directed and choreographed by Gary Lloyd, the piece centres on a jaded pop star who finds himself facing the consequences of court action. It is inspired by writer Grant Black’s own experiences.

The production features musical supervision and arrangements by Simon Lee, with set and lighting design by Andrew Exeter, costumes by Rob Jones, and sound by Chris Whybrow.
