Casting announced for Lone Flyer at the Watermill

Casting has been revealed for the Watermill’s revival production of Lone Flyer – The Last Flight of Amy Johnson.

Hannah Edwards (Great Gatsby) will play the title role, along with Benedict Salter (The Importance of Being Earnest, A Little Night Music) playing supporting characters.

Ade Morris’ powerful  play will be directed by Watermill Associate Lucy Betts and will run from 22 October – 21 November.

Betts said: “I'm delighted to be back at The Watermill directing Lone Flyer. We explore the life of a young woman overcoming the constraints placed upon her to achieve extraordinary things. Amy Johnson's story of hope and adventure is a joy to tell at this unusual and unpredictable time.”
