Casting announced for KIN - A NEW MUSICAL at Hitchin’s Factory Playhouse
Casting has been announced for the world premiere of the first full production of Kin - A New Musical, which runs at Factory Playhouse Hitchin from 7-11 September.
After two sell-out concert performances at The Other Palace in London in May 2022 & over 1 million views on TikTok, Kin is a brand new musical inspired by real life events that took place in a small town in 80’s America.
The cast includes Alex James-Hatton (Heathers, West End) as Noah, Elliott Evans (Taboo, London Palladium) as 1st cover Noah & Kyle, Sophie-Rose Middleton (SIX) as Cora, Jake Alun (Strange Encounters) as Terrance, Olivia Hallett (Anything Goes, The Other Palace) as Carole & Marge, Thomas Alsop (Carousel, Cadogan Hall) as Turtle, Sam Wells (Days of Candy) as Kirk, Harvey Loakes (Joseph, London Palladium) as Joe, Livi Kent (Joseph, London Palladium) as Thea, Laura Dawkes (KIN, The Other Palace) as Ivy, Ralph Phillips (EDSA) as Calvin, Simanié Hemmise (KIN, The Other Palace) as Eva, Javai James (KIN, The Other Palace) as Tarick, Georgie Butler (Footloose, Factory Playhouse) as June and Ella McLaughlin (Footloose, Factory Playhouse) as Tam.
The musical is written by Emil Dale & Stefan Kelk, with musical supervisor & musical direction by Pete Mitchell, choreography by Arran Anzani-Jones, sound by Steve Jonas, lighting by Bob Bustance, and casting by Claire Cassidy from Debbie O’Brien Casting.
