Casting has been announced for the UK tour of Dragons and Other Mythical Beasts, ahead of its opening on 21 July 2021.

The family show will also visit Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre as part of its tour, running from 13 August-5 September.

The cast includes Ben Galpin (Dave the Hero Trainer), Antony Antunes (Puppeteer/Puppet Captain), Emily Cooper (Puppeteer/Puppet Technician), Elaine Hartley (Puppeteer), Samuel Parker (Puppeteer/Understudy Host), and Liam Wright (Puppeteer).

Unveil a myriad of dark secrets and come face to face with some of the most magnificent monsters and terrifying beasts ever to walk the earth. Discover the colossal Stone Troll, the mysterious Indrik and Japanese Baku; the Tooth Fairy (not as sweet as you'd think), an adorable Unicorn and majestic Griffin. Take your place among legendary heroes, just don't wake the Dragon…

The production is co-directed by Derek Bond (Sweet Charity) and Laura Cubitt (Running Wild), with puppet design by Max Humphries, set and costume design by James Perkins, composition/sound by Max Pappenheim and lighting by John Maddox.
