Casting announced for CAROUSEL at Kilworth House Theatre

Casting has been announced for Kilworth House Theatre’s revival of Carousel, which runs from 24 May-3 July.

The roles of Julie Jordan and Billy Bigelow will be played by Emma Kingston and Matt Blaker respectively, with Julie Yamannee as Carrie Pipperidge, Tom Sterling as Enoch Snow, Madalena Alberto as Nettie Fowler, George Maddison as Jigger Craigin and Lara Denning as Mrs Mullin.

Genevieve Heron will play the role of Louise Bigelow, with Kevin Brewis as Mr Bascombe, Charles Butcher as Young Enoch, Alastair Postlewaite as Carnival Boy and Alan Vicary as Dr Seldon. 

The ensemble comprises of Stuart Rouse, Gareth Moran, Diante Lodge, Luke Jarvis, Rhodri Watkins, Joseph Craig, Libby Waits, Rebecca Jayne French, Alice Readie, Aoife Kenny, Chloe Saunders and Jemima Lody. 

This new production of Carousel will be set in post-WW2 Maine rather than its conventional setting in the 1870s.

Carousel is directed & choreographed by Nick Winston, with set and costume design by Philip Witcomb, lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by Chris Whybrow, new orchestrations by George Dyer and musical direction by Francis Goodhand.
