Casting announced for world premiere of ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS - THE MUSICAL

Casting has been announced for the world premiere of brand-new musical Alfred Hitchcock Presents – The Musical, which plays at Theatre Royal Bath from 22 March-12 April 2025.

The cast will include West End and Broadway stars Scarlett Strallen (Mary Poppins, West End/Broadway) as Mary, Sally Ann Triplett (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, West End) as Lottie Slocomb & Sadie Grimes, Nicola Hughes (Porgy & Bess, West End) as Eve & Arthur’s Mother, Gary Milner (Kiss Me Kate, Barbican) as Detective Novak & Roman, Damian Humbley (Merrily We Roll Along, Menier Chocolate Factory/West End) as Courtney, Alistair Brammer (Miss Saigon, West End/Broadway) as Richard & Ray, Mark Meadows (Quiz, West End) as Maloney & Waterbury, Landi Oshinowo (Matilda, West End) as Blanche & Millie’s mama, Liam Tamne (Prince of Egypt, West End) as Fred & Carl, Joaquin Pedro Valdes (Death Note: The Musical, West End) as Michael & Deitz, Jade Oswald (Treason, West End) as Lisa & Nurse Thornhill, Matthew Caputo (The Creakers, Southbank Centre) as Tommy, Ahmed Hamad (A Christmas Carol, The Old Vic) as Arthur & Jerome, and Keanna Bloomfield (My Fair Lady, Curve) as Millie, with Georgia Mann, Ritesh Manugula, Choolwe Lain Muntanga, Matt Pettifor, and Jack Reitman.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents – The Musical is a unique theatrical journey through the imagination of Alfred Hitchcock, one of cinema’s truly legendary characters, the creative genius behind iconic movies including Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Rear Window, The Birds and many, many more.

The world premiere of the brand-new musical brings together episodes from Alfred Hitchcock Presents, one of the most popular shows in the Golden Age of Television, creating a whodunnit musical journey for a modern audience.

Alfred Hitchcock Presents – The Musical is directed by two-time Tony Award winner John Doyle, who also co-designs the set. The original jazzy score by Steven Lutvak and inventive book by Jay Dyer keeps the show’s tongue firmly lodged in its cheek, in Hitchcock’s trademark style.

The creative team is completed by co-set designer David L. Arsenault, costume designer Jonathan Lipman, lighting designer Johanna Town, sound designer Tom Marshall, musical supervisor Catherine Jayes, orchestrator Jason Carr, musical director Benjamin Holder, and casting director Ginny Schiller CDG.
