Cast announced for SHINING CITY at Theatre Royal Stratford East

Shining City

Casting has been announced today for Theatre Royal Stratford East’s production of Conor McPherson’s Shining City, running from 17 September to 23 October.

Directed by Nadia Fall, the show will star Brendan Coyle, Rory Keenan, Michelle Fox and Curtis-Lee Ashqar. Shining City tells the story of the recently bereaved John who believes that he is being haunted by the ghost of his dead wife. Slowly revealing his secrets to psychotherapist Ian, the two men struggle to make sense of their place in the world, questioning the nature of reality.

Shining City is described as a poignant and unsettling exploration of guilt, loneliness and the spaces between us.

Tickets are now on sale for Stratford East Friends, members and access bookers, with public booking opening at 12 noon on Thursday 8 July here.
