Cast announced for Mercury Theatre’s production of BASKERVILLE – A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY

The Mercury Theatre in Colchester has announced the cast for its upcoming comedy Baskerville – A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, running from 30 July-22 August.

Written by Ken Ludwig (Lend me a Tenor), the production will star Richard Ede as Sherlock Holmes, Marc Pickering as Actor 1, Eric Stroud as Doctor Watson, Phil Yarrow as Actor 2 and Eva-Jane Willis as Actor 3. The five actors will play over 40 characters as the famous duo of Holmes and Watson try to solve their most famous case, contending with a tangled web of disguises and deceit!

The production will be directed by Ryan McBryde, with design by Amy Jane Cook, lighting by Johanna Town, video/projection by Louise Rhoades-Brown and sound by Steve Mayo.

West Country born and raised, Eliza is a professional actor who trained in Musical Theatre at the New York Film Academy. Since graduating, she's toured all over Italy doing physical theatre and teaching theatre in English.Passionate about making theatre accessible, Eliza is Associate Artist for ‘Fusion Theatre Company' who created and toured a fully accessible reimagination of Medusa in London, Italy and Chicago.Eliza is thrilled to be part of the WEBF team and wants to keep spreading theatre magic. She can often be found at her piano, running, or bouldering!
