Cast announced and trailer released for intimate and interactive micro-plays THEATRE FOR TWO

Casting has today been announced for We Are Kilter’s Theatre For Two; interactive meetings between audience and actor, presented by Mary Malone (The Jacket, BBC Arts; Alexis Gregory’s Safe, Hackney Empire) and Soho Theatre Rising Award winner, Ryan Lane (Told by an Idiot’s Let Me Play The Lion Too, The Barbican), as well as a new trailer.

The micro-plays will feature some of the most exciting up-and-coming talent in Tabby Lamb, Macadie Amoroso, Ryan Lane and Gabriella Leon.  They will be shown in a specially designed travelling venue, which will pop up all across London to bring the stories to audience members.

The pop-up theatre has been designed by Ioana Curelea and will have the capacity for two audience members. It is wheelchair accessible and will have integrated safety measures, along with hard surfaces which can be easily sanitised and cleaned between performances.

There will be four short stories, consisting of Gluten Free Chocolate Crispy Caramel Mini Bite from Tabby Lamb, presented by Mary Malone. It explores the need to be seen, heard and valued for who you are.

Malone will also perform in Reptile by Macadie Amoroso, which tells the story of feeling and being alone within four walls and how a cold-blooded companion helps stem the loneliness by having someone to talk to.

Ryan Lane will take to the stage to bring us Gabriella Leon’s Share-My-Home Companion, a play which we can all relate to from the past year, looking at the need to do something, the need to look forward to something and the need to have something to talk about.

He will also present his own work The Recluse Who Lives on the Hill, which looks at a famous Hollywood lady who has faded away and spends her days as a recluse.

Each play is viewable singularly and lasts for approximately 10 minutes, or you can watch all 4 as a cycle. Tickets can be booked at the individual theatres.

The dates for the shows are available here as location and dates will vary.
