Car Park Party, who bring live theatre to outdoor venues where the audience can enjoy performances from the comfort of their own cars, have announced not one, but two new tours for this Easter, extending their partnership with Birmingham Stage Company and Horrible Histories.

Barmy Britain, which toured last summer, will travel to AJ Bell Stadium in Manchester, Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate, Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough, Harewood House in Leeds, Carlisle Racecourse, Newark Showground, Northampton Saints, Chelmsford Racecourse, Knebworth House, Newbury Racecourse, Canford Park Arena, RICOH Arena in Coventry, Wolverhampton Racecourse, Bath and West Showground and Uttoxeter Racecourse between 2-17 April if restrictions allow. 

Gorgeous Georgians & Vile Victorians will then tour to Newcastle Racecourse, Windsor Racecourse, Lingfield Racecourse, Newbury Racecourse and Exeter Racecourse between 4-15 April, if permitted.

With audiences staying in their cars and social distancing in place for any need to leave vehicles, Car Park Party is a Covid secure way of seeing live theatre. Of course, the rules could change but it is hoped that everything that Car Park Party has planned will be able to go ahead.
