CABARET and Disney’s NEWSIES to feature in THE ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE 2022

It has been announced that Cabaret and Disney’s Newsies will feature in this year’s Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Lee Mack.

Cirque du Soleil will also return to the Royal Variety Performance with an excerpt from their latest show, Kurios.

To mark Queen Elizabeth II’s long association with The Royal Variety Performance, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Gary Barlow and Gareth Malone, along with the London Youth Choir, will perform a special version of ‘Sing’ during the celebratory event.

Other music performances will come from Nile Rodgers & Chic, George Ezra, Ellie Goulding, Sam Ryder, Becky Hill, and Rita Wilson and Gregory Porter will perform a duet, plus Frank Skinner, David Baddiel and The Lightning Seeds will deliver a special rendition of their hit football anthem ‘Three Lions’.

There will also be entertainment from The Ehrlich Brothers, Fatma Said, Giffords Circus, Al Murray - The Pub Landlord, Maisie Adam, Omid Djalili and this year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner Axel Blake.

The show will be screened on ITV in December.
