British Youth Music Theatre have revealed the full line-up for the BYMT 20th Anniversary Gala at The Other Palace on 8 July, featuring BYMT alumni West End performers, a new generation of talent, and the creators of Babies (which was originally commissioned and performed by BYMT in 2021 and is now taking the West End by storm).

Reprising roles from some of the 120 new musicals BYMT has commissioned across two decades are BYMT alumni professionals Grace Mouat (Mean Girls), Kayleigh McKnight (Six), Ryan Heenan (Back to the Future), Martha Geelan and Jack Godfrey (Babies), Courtney Stapleton (Beauty and the Beast), Jordan Paul Clarke (Angry Salmon), Bethany Tennick (Islander), Rebecca Levy (Mamma Mia the Party), Christopher Tendai (Closer to Heaven and Creative Director/Choreographer of current BYMT show Wonderland in Alice), Maddie Matthews, David Leo and recent graduates Maya Khatri Chhetri and Honor Brigg.

They perform alongside the next generation of future musical theatre stars, with incredible performances from the current BYMT Young Company, and gala host writer, performer, BYMT alumnus, and New Musical Theatre Award winner 2023 Lewis Cornay (Spongebob Squarepants The Musical).

The BYMT 20th anniversary gala brings together industry, alumni, current young performers and audiences to celebrate two decades of BYMT success. Since 2004, the company has engaged with over 16,000 young people, launched emerging music theatre artists into successful careers, and been at the forefront of the UK’s music theatre landscape as the nation’s most prolific commissioner of new musicals.
