Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Broadway League have today announced that Broadway’s official reopening day will be on 14 September 2021.

The theatres will reopen at 100% capacity from this date, with tickets for certain productions including Six the Musical going on sale tomorrow (6 May).

The venues will have to be signed off by the state to reopen, once they have ensured that Covid-19 regulations are being adhered to.

Broadway productions are expected to reveal their specific reopening details in coming weeks.
