Broadway plans underway for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CINDERELLA

At the Tony Awards on Sunday evening, Andrew Lloyd Webber announced plans for a Broadway run of his new musical, Cinderella.

The legendary composer revealed his aim to open the musical in New York by late summer 2022.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella is currently playing at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in the West End, and features an original story and book by 2021 Oscar winner Emerald Fennell, lyrics by Tony & Olivier award winner David Zippel, direction by Laurence Connor and choreography by Joanne Hunter.
