Broadway actor DeMarius Copes has been added to be star-studded line-up featuring in the Dear Evan Hansen film adaptation.

Best known for being a member of the original Broadway company of Mean Girls, Copes will make his cinematic debut playing Oliver, one of Zoe Murphy’s friends in the film.

He will join aforementioned cast members: Ben Platt, Julianne Moore, Amy Adams, Kaitlyn Dever, Amandla Stenberg, Danny Pino, Colton Ryan and Nik Dodani.

Copes is currently appearing in the US national tour of Hamilton and he previously featured in the original cast of The Prom in Atlanta and the first National tour of Disney’s Newsies.
