Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey to star as Fiyero in WICKED movies

Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey is set to play Fiyero in the forthcoming Wicked movies, as confirmed by director Jon M. Chu on Twitter last night.

Chu said: “He’s perfect, they’re perfect. They’d be perfect together. Born to be forever….. I am too excited to pretend this hasn’t been happening. We have a Fiyero!!!! #JonathanBailey #Wicked”

Bailey will join the previously announced Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba in the two-part musical film adaptation, which is scheduled for release at Christmas in 2024 and 2025.
