Taking to Instagram, Boy George has announced a global search for an actor to play him in upcoming musical biopic, Karma Chameleon.

Written and directed by Sacha Gervasi, the film will chart George’s humble beginnings through to his height of fame with 80’s band, Culture Club.

Culture Club are best known for their iconic songs such as film title track ‘Karma Chameleon’, ‘Do You Really Want to Hurt Me’ and ‘Time (Clock of the Heart)’.

George also wrote the music and lyrics for 2002 hit musical, Taboo.
