Ahead of the 10th birthday performance this evening, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical has confirmed that it has extended its booking period through to 18 December 2022.

A new behind-the-scenes video from the 10th birthday press day featuring interviews with Tim Minchin (music and lyrics), Dennis Kelly (writer), Catherine Mallyon (Executive Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company), Elliot Harper (Miss Trunchbull) and Landi Oshinowo (Mrs Phelps) can also be viewed below.

Written by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and developed and directed by Matthew Warchus, the theatre production is designed by Rob Howell, with choreography by Peter Darling, orchestrations, additional music and musical supervision by Christopher Nightingale, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound by Simon Baker and the special effects and illusions are by Paul Kieve.
