Blue’s Antony Costa joins cast of DREAMBOATS AND PETTICOATS: BRINGING ON BACK THE GOOD TIMES

Singer and actor Antony Costa will join the cast of Dreamboats and Petticoats: Bringing on Back the Good Times as a special guest for the production’s dates at Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham (19-23 April) and Newcastle Theatre Royal (25-30 April).

Costa is best known for his time in chart-topping boy band Blue. He has appeared in several theatre productions, including Blood Brothers in the West End, and the UK tours of Rock of Ages and Save The Last Dance For Me.

Bringing on Back the Good Times is the third musical inspired by the latest release in the series of smash-hit Dreamboats & Petticoats albums. It’s filled with wit, charm and songs from the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll. 

Costa will play Larry, the manager of would-be superstars Bobby & Laura, and of course Norman & The Conquests.

Antony said: “I’m thrilled to be joining such an established musical celebration and will love singing those rock ‘n’ roll songs again.”
