It has been announced that Ben Elton will direct the new 20th anniversary tour of We Will Rock You, opening in Portsmouth on 7 February 2022.

Elton directed the original West End production two decades ago and has since directed the show across the globe.

This brand new production will star Ian McIntosh as Galileo, Elena Skye as Scaramouche, Jenny O'Leary as Killer Queen, Adam Strong as Khashoggi, Michael Mckell as Buddy, Martina Ciabatti Mennell as Oz and David Michael Johnson as Brit.

Completing the cast are Laura Bird, Kate Leiper, Joanne Harper, Anna Davey, Edward Leigh, Spin, Karen Walker, David Muscat, Damien Walsh, Laura Ava-Scott, Victoria Collins, Joseph Connor, Louis Clarke-Clare and Jacob Fearey.

Following Portsmouth, the show will visit York, Cornwall, Bournemouth, Stoke, Liverpool, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Bristol, Reading, Aylesbury, Ipswich, Torquay, Wolverhampton, Wimbledon, Stockton, Peterborough, Norwich, Bromley, Birmingham, Southend, Canterbury, Southampton, Newcastle, Sheffield and Manchester.

Further members of the creative team are to be announced.
