BBC’s SUNDAY NIGHT MUSICALS announces line-up

Three exciting titles have been announced to feature as part of BBC’s Sunday Night Musicals series on BBC Four and iPlayer.

The series begins on 21 November at 8pm (GMT) with the 2014 Royal Albert Hall staging of Kiss Me, Kate. Starring in the piece are Alexandra Silber, Ben Davis, Louise Dearman, Tony Yazbeck, Jason Pennycooke, James Doherty, Michael Jibson, Ian Talbot, Louise Marshall, Alex Bourne, Christopher Howell, Michael Pickering, Gary Watson and more - as directed by Shaun Kerrison and choreographed by Alistair David.

At later dates, the 2017 West End production of An American in Paris and John Wilson on Broadway from the 2012 BBC Proms will also be shown.

Directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, An American in Paris stars Robert Fairchild as Jerry Mulligan and Leanne Cope as Lise Dassin, accompanied by over 50 actors, dancers and musicians including Haydn Oakley as Henri Baurel, Zoë Rainey as Milo Davenport, David Seadon-Young as Adam Hochberg and Jane Asher as Madame Baurel.

John Wilson on Broadway features some of Broadway's most beloved classics, with performances by Sierra Boggess, Julian Ovenden, Anna-Jane Casey, Rodney Earl Clarke, Elizabeth Llewellyn and Seth MacFarlane.
