BBC’s GOLDEN AGE OF BROADWAY Prom announces cast

The line-up for BBC’s ‘Golden Age of Broadway’ Prom has been announced.

Taking place at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 31 July with a full capacity crowd five stars are set to perform with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe.

The stars taking part are Louise Dearman (Wonderful Town), Clarke Peters (The Wire), Nadim Naaman (The Phantom of the Opera), Jamie Parker (Guys and Dolls) and Katie Hall (Les Misérables).

They will perform hits from South PacificAnnie Get Your GunMy Fair Lady, Anything Goes, and High Society, as well as Oklahoma!, CarouselGuys and Dolls and Meet Me in St Louis. It will showcase the work of creatives Rodgers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and many more.

If you don’t have tickets, the show will be broadcast on BBC Two on Saturday 7 August and will be on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 2 at a later date.
