BAT OUT OF HELL announces new tour dates

Post-apocalyptic rock musical Bat Out of Hell has announced its new tour dates.

Featuring the music of Jim Steinman, Bat out of Hell tells the story of an immortal vagabond who falls in love with a local warlord’s daughter.

The tour will open on 11 September 2021 at Manchester Opera House and it will then go on to visit Oxford, Glasgow, Birmingham, Wimbledon, Stockton, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Stoke, Sheffield, Eastbourne, Milton Keynes, Southampton, Plymouth, Newcastle, Bristol, Belfast, Dublin, Hull, Cardiff, Liverpool and Woking, with further dates to be revealed.

The book, music and lyrics are all by Steinman, with direction by Jay Scheib. Choreography for the show will be adapted by Xena Gusthart, with musical supervision and additional arrangements by Michael Reed.

Set and costume design is by Jon Bausor, with lighting and sound design by Patrick Woodroffe and Gareth Owen respectively.

Casting for the tour is still to be announced.
