Pioneers of championing British musical theatre, The Barn Theatre Cirencester have revealed the next two virtual concerts, as part of their Behind The Barn Door live streaming service. Talented writing duo, Stephanie Jayne Amies and Teddy Clements, will be celebrated on 27 June at 7.30pm BST. They are best known for their music in the award-winning musical Tomorrow, Maybe and for supporting new musicals through their production company, Aardvark’s Can’t Jump.

Following this on 11 July at 7.30pm BST, the spotlight will be on playwright, lyricist and director, Annabel Mutale Reed. Mentored by renowned composer, Claude-Michel Schonberg, Reed received high praise for her work on the musical STOP with Leo Munby and her collaborations with Jack Trzcinski. She also recently directed the Zorro! concert production at Cadogan Hall.

Hosted by Barn Theatre Producer, Jamie Chapman Dixon, the concerts will feature both West End stars and emerging talent. They will include a Q&A with the writers along with performances from the line-up (to be announced).

The concerts can be viewed on the venue’s Facebook and YouTube channels at the dates and time specified.
