Audition call out for DICK WHITTINGTON at Coventry’s Albany Theatre

The Albany Theatre has today put a call out for established performers, professional actors, and budding entertainers to audition for the principal parts and ensemble for their upcoming production of Dick Whittington, which is due to open on 30 December 2021 and run until 8 January 2022.

Auditions for those over the age of 18 are due to take place on Wednesday 1 September and Sunday 5 September, with children’s auditions for those between the ages of 9 and 18 taking place on Sunday 12 September. 

The production team including director Karen Staton, choreographer Katie Gavin, dance captain Millie Morris and musical director Cate Mellor are working hard to ensure a spectacular and successful production. 

The roles that are available to audition for include Dick Whittington (Female), Alice, Alderman Fitzwarren, Fairy Bow Bells, King Rat, Sarah (Dame), Idle Jack, Captain, 1st Lieutenant, Sultan and Sultana. Please note that all roles are unpaid.
