ATG launch two new West End Creative Learning Programmes to support next generation of artists
The Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) have announced the launch of two new Creative Learning programmes, aiming to provide an ongoing support programme for artists of all disciplines.
West End: Thrive offers a series of one-off workshops and courses in ATG’s West End community, to provide an ongoing programme of support to artists, with workshops led by practitioners such as Conrad Murray, Steven Kavuma, Natasha Brown and Burnt Lemon.
Whether you are an individual wanting to try something new, an emerging artist taking your first step into the industry, or if you’re an established artist who wants to develop your own practice, West End: Thrive has something for you.
From design to dance, performance to writing (and everything in between), THRIVE aims to support individuals to learn new skills, develop as an artist and to thrive.
Thrive is for those aged 16 and over and bursary spaces are available for all workshops.
Also launching in January will be ATG INSIGHT, their new online talks and Q&A series. Discover more about West End theatre and ATG’s productions from the people that bring them to our stages, through West End Insight.
From conversations with the creatives to cast career pathways, offstage and backstage roles to the often unseen moments, INSIGHT open the doors to the West End and celebrates the roles often unheard, advocating for the next generation to explore potentially different pathways.
Creative Learning Producer Conor Hunt said: “With the impact of the pandemic still being felt across the sector, it’s more important now than ever that we aim to support, nurture and advocate for the next generation of artists, creatives and creators to see theatre as a space for them. With both THRIVE and INSIGHT we hope that artists can engage on their terms to develop, celebrate all disciplines and feel supported by the wider West End community”.
Booking for all workshops now on sale here.
