ATG confirms Covid certification scheme for UK venues

ATG

Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) has announced that it will be “asking audiences to provide proof of their Covid status” at its 35 venues across the country.

On its website, it states that these Covid-19 certification checks will be required from all adult audience members as “a condition of entry to the venue.” Those under 18 will be asked for “verbal confirmation” that they have not tested positive for Covid-19 and do not have any symptoms.

Over 18’s will need to have either a negative Covid-19 lateral flow test result, taken 48 hours prior to the event, with certification shown via email or text, or a double Covid-19 vaccination received at least two weeks prior to attending a show. Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days of the event will also be accepted.

If anyone is denied entry due to a positive lateral flow test, the lead booker will be issued with a credit voucher which can be used to re-book on an alternative date.
