AMELIE THE MUSICAL to play in the West End for a limited run

The critically acclaimed 2019/20 production of Amelie has today announced it will be embarking on a new adventure in the West End.

After its successful UK tour and sold-out run at The Other Palace, the production will play at London’s Criterion Theatre for a limited run, with socially distanced performances commencing on 20 May 2021.

Amélie, led by the wonderful Audrey Brission (The Grinning Man), secretly creates small, but extraordinary acts of kindness discovering the possibilities around every corner and bringing happiness to those she encounters along the way. When the chance to experience love comes her way, Amélie realises that to find her own contentment she’ll have to risk everything and say what’s in her heart.

The Amélie musical brings the 2001 five-time Oscar-nominated film to life with a cast of incredible actor-musicians and set to a critically acclaimed re-orchestrated score that truly amplifies the space.

The piece will initially play to socially distanced audiences at the Criterion Theatre "until such a time that social distancing is no longer a legal requirement".

This musical is the icing on the cake to a difficult year so we can’t wait to see audiences experience this joyous masterpiece for themselves from 20 May.
