Almeida Theatre announces full cast for UK premiere of Jeremy O. Harris’ play DADDY

Full casting has been announced for the UK premiere of Jeremy O. Harris’ play Daddy: A Melodrama, which runs at the Almeida Theatre from 26 March-30 April.

The cast includes Claes Bang, Terique Jarrett, Jenny Rainsford, Sharlene Whyte and T’Shan Williams, who will join Rebecca Bernice Amissah, Keisha Atwell, Ioanna Kimbook and John McCrea who were originally cast in the play before its postponement at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The production is directed by Danya Taymor, with set design by Matt Saunders, co-costume design by Montana Levi Blanco and Peter Todd, lighting by Isabella Byrd, sound by Lee Kinney, movement direction by Anjali Mehra, and musical supervision by Tim Sutton.
