Open-air concert version of A Little Night Music comes to Holland Park

A Little Night Music

An outdoor concert version of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music is to be staged in Holland Park on Saturday 15 August, starring Janie Dee and Joanna Riding.

Produced by Quick Fantastic and Dee, in association with Opera Holland Park, the concert will be directed by Alastair Knights. Joining Dee and Riding in the cast will be Sharif Afifi, Hiba Elchikhe, Danielle Fiamanya, Fra Fee, Hilary Harwood, Emma Kingston, Emma Harrold, Nadim Naaman, Laura Pitt-Pulford, Ella Tronson and Kayi Ushe.

There will be an eight-piece chamber ensemble of musicians led by musical director, Alex Parker, and orchestrations by Jason Carr, last heard in the 2009 Broadway revival.

A Little Night Music explores the tangled web of affairs centred around actress, Desirée Armfeldt, and the men who love her.

The concert has a limited capacity of 200 seats, with tickets going on sale here at 12pm on 3 August.
