A free video performance about a single man’s journey to parenthood premieres next week

From Me To Us

Wayne Steven Jackson has created a free video performance about a single man’s journey to parenthood, which will premiere on 12 November at 7.15pm.

As a consequence of Section 54A of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act, Wayne is currently in the process of single parent surrogacy. From Me To Us is a playful and poignant performance letter to a future child from their future father, supported by Arts Council England and hosted by Contact.

With videography by Ben Horrigan for Studio 91 Media and music composed by BAFTA and Academy Award winner Chris Benstead (Gravity, The Gentleman, No Time to Die), From Me to Us is an important project that provides the space for discussions about parenthood, whilst documenting the political change against a backdrop of autobiographical experiences.
