Twenty leading and up-and-coming West End performers have united with a group of renowned choreographers to create something truly magical: a short film based on the incredible 1985 motion-picture of A Chorus Line. 

A Chorus Line first opened on Broadway in 1975 and was the longest-running Broadway musical in history until it was surpassed by Cats in 1997. It follows seventeen Broadway dancers auditioning for coveted spots on a chorus line. Throughout the musical, we witness incredible determination and catch glimpses into the paths that led them to become dancers. 

Spearheading A Chorus Line Reimagined is choreographer Taylor Walker, who, seeing the devastation COVID-19 has wrought on the theatre industry, decided to do something to help. The film features stunning choreography from Walker and his collaborators Stephen Mear, Matt Cole, and Jane McMurtrie, and aims to raise awareness about the plight of our theatres. 

All proceeds raised from the film will go to the King’s Theatre in Portsmouth and The Actors’ Benevolent Fund as thanks and recognition for all they continue to do for the community throughout this challenging time.
