NEW SINGING COMPETITION. THE WINNER GETS TO RECORD A SINGLE WITH SEVEN MUSICAL THEATRE STARS!!!

HEY besties! So we promised our latest competition would be our biggest yet and it’s safe to say we have DELIVERED!

‘The Unity Project’ is a singing competition where the winner gets to sing a solo on a charity single we are making called ‘Unity’ with seven STARS of the U.K musical theatre industry. We are doing this to raise money for the ‘Acting For Others’ charity who provides financial and emotional support for theatre workers in times of distress. We will be announcing our line up of stars through out the day and we think you’ll agree it’s a pretty impressive group. Between them they have performed in shows such as Wicked, Hamilton, Heathers, Come From Away, The Book of Mormon, Bat Out of Hell, Six, YANK, Avenue Q, Beautiful and many MANY more!!!

So for the competition we are asking you to send in a recording of you singing a musical theatre song that has helped you get through lock down. Be that because it made you happy, it moves you or it gives you some grit determination to carry on every day! As the month goes on we will upload people’s entries on to the page and give as many people their moment in the spotlight as we can.

RULES:

(Please read)

– You can sing the whole song which we encourage you to do or you can just sing a section, but the section MUST be OVER 60 seconds.
– Your song choice MUST be musical theatre
– We only accept original video links. Not YouTube or Vimeo. You can send them straight through to us on email. If the file is too big for that we recommend WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google drive.
– It MUST be a video of you singing the song, we won’t accept just a vocal recording
– Please be singing LIVE, no prerecorded edited vocals.
– Anyone under the age of 18 will need parental permission to enter the competition

ENTRY DEADLINE:

Entry deadline is 26/06/20 at 12.00pm!

Along with your entry please include your name, where you’re from, your song choice and your reason for choosing this song/what it means to you. (please be as detailed as you like
