The Vertical Theatre Group launches future-proof live performance venue

A vision for a ‘future-proof’ live performance venue has been revealed by The Vertical Theatre Group today, guaranteeing the new future of live entertainment.

This new innovative, tourable, free-standing venue allows for social distancing and will be ready to roll-out in late 2021, with an aim to have several Vertical Theatre venues across the globe in the near future.

The performance space is adaptable to different art forms, from theatre to concerts to comedy, with built-in global streaming capacity. It has a roof so it can be used in all weathers but has optional open sides.

The venue can accommodate between 1200-2400 people, pending social distancing guidelines. Audiences will sit in designated social bubbles, accommodating between 4-12 people, but has been designed to be used post-pandemic as well.
